Andrew Kerr

CEO

Andrew Kerr is a construction manager within the construction sector with extensive experience in managing large complex civil projects. Andrew is responsible for all aspects of the business, from strategic planning through to business development and delivery. Andrew works closely with Shamrock team members to ensure all projects are delivered safely and exceed client’s quality and program requirements.

Brendan Kealy

Managing Director

Brendan Kealy successfully spearheaded Shamrock Civil from its foundation in 1994 until 2006 in the capacity of CEO. Current company Director and construction expert, Brendan is focused on international acquisition, business development and the implementation of strategic plans across Shamrock Civil’s operations. Brendan is a hands-on problem solver with a high rate of achievement and an appetite for new challenges. He has been instrumental in the development of our operational capability and project portfolio in Papua New Guinea.

Albert Van Wyk

Chief Financial Officer (Shamrock Civil Engineering)

Albert Van Wyk has more than 30 years’ experience in finance and has been integral to the success of a number of organisations over his career. He is responsible for all strategic and tactical matters relating to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding for Shamrock Civil. Albert has particular expertise in developing performance measures that support a company’s strategic direction.

Sean Keane

Commercial Manager

Sean Keane commenced his career with Shamrock Civil Engineering over 10 years ago as a Contracts Manager. He worked on a variety of projects in the resource, commercial and urban development sectors. As Commercial Manager, Sean now ensures that Shamrock Civil Engineering properly identifies and manages all Head Contract and Supplier risks. He drives the development, maintenance and implementation of our job cost reporting system and commercial, contractual and supply chain management systems.

David Carney

Operations Manager (SEQ)

David Carney is an experienced engineering professional, with over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. He has worked on a range of infrastructure, water and retail projects since commencing Shamrock Civil in 2004. He has extensive experience in the arrangement of systems and programs and can effectively collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and levels. As Operations Manager, David is stewardship of the Shamrock Civil safety culture and oversees the delivery of all South East Queensland projects from tender stage to completion.

Clinton Huff

Operations Manager (NQ)

Clinton has a breadth of experience in the civil construction industry working in both the public and private sectors covering a time span in excess of 40 years.
These roles included both a North Qld Regional Manager position from 2001 – 2009, and a General Manager Queensland role from 2009 – 2013 for the Department of Transport & Main Roads.
Clinton has successfully operated a Business and Management Consultancy business as a sole trader in Townsville for over 20 years. This diversity of experiences and associated working networks provides him with a sound knowledge of the Townsville Region and the opportunities it provides. Clinton is highly regarded in Townsville and he contributes to the portfolios of employment, procurement, and infrastructure projects for Shamrock Civil.

Richard Motton

Operations Manager (VIC)

Richard Motton joined Shamrock Civil in 2017 and leads the Shamrock Victorian Business, overseeing the delivery of all projects across Victoria. He is an experienced manager who has successfully led a variety of service delivery operations and businesses within the civil infrastructure, assets & facilities management sectors. Richard has a proven track record of building and maintaining successful working relationships with both clients and stakeholders. Driven by challenge, and committed to continuous improvement. Richard is focused on the delivery of successful outcomes for Shamrock’s clients with the aim of exceeding expectations, and enhancing delivered value and which allows achievement of their objectives.

Nick Sandwell

Operations Manager (QLD Defence)

Nick Sandwell joined Shamrock Civil in 2006, working his way from an undergraduate engineer, he is now serving as the Operations Manager for QLD Defence. Nick plays a major role in building ongoing relationships and overseeing our major Defence projects. Through his commitment to this role, he has helped Shamrock improve business relationships, retaining clients & contractors, and driving down project costs.
