Shamrock Civil was contracted to deliver the upgrades and improvements of the Buddhist Vihara Temple in Goodna, as part of the Stage 1 development.

Scope of Work

  • Site clearing
  • Bulk earthworks (cut to fill & import)
  • Stormwater pipes and structures (including a 238kL stormwater detentiontank system)
  • Concrete kerb & channel
  • Concrete pathways (including PWD compliant ramp)
  • Roadworks, pavement & carpark construction (including asphalt)
  • Boulder retaining walls (design & construct)
  • Fencing (chain wire & acoustic fencing)
  • Electrical mains & internal electrical services
  • Water reticulation (as variation works)

Project Complications & Achievements

Shamrock Civil successfully delivered this project with a high degree of client satisfaction whilst the temple remained operational and received frequent visitors throughout all stages of construction. Thorough planning and timely communication with key project stakeholders and the broader community was imperative for a project of this nature. Shamrock Civil was also commended for its highly collaborative approach to working with the client and consulting engineers to achieve best value for money outcomes for additional scope that arose and design changes resulting in variations.
