Shamrock Civil was awarded the Civil Works package for the Land 121 Stage 2A project to provide a new AdBlue facility at the existing Refueling Depot at RAAF Base Amberley.
Scope of Work

Site Establishment

Demolition of concrete hardstand and asphalt hardstand, concrete kerb & channel and concrete infill sections to existing bowser plinths.

Detailed filling and shaping of earth fill around the perimeter of the new AdBlue concrete tank slab.

Electrical underground services works

Flexible pavement backfill to electrical and communications combined services trench. Rigid concrete pavement backfill to fuel line trench including 2 traffic islands.

Concrete works including formwork, steel reinforcement, concrete supply, concrete pump, place & finish for slab, kerbs and concrete island infills.

Metalwork

Staged trenching & backfill to ensure constant access for Defence personnel.

Shamrock Civil undertook additional contamination testing and verification before disposing offsite to a licenced waste facility under Queensland Department of Environment and Science Waste Tracking certificates
