Shamrock Civil Engineering were awarded the project to complete remediation works to main access roads and other tracks within the Wide Bay Training Area.

Scarify existing surface

Import and add new type 2.3 road base gravel where required

Condition and compact new surface

Reinstate drainage channels and turnouts

Construct rock mattresses and scour protection where required with 75-150mm rock

Construct rock Mitre Drains in various areas requiring transverse drainage across road alignment

Vacuum excavate blockages from pipes where required

Total length of approximately 32.1km of roads remediated

Asphaltic repair work on Route 20 (Total Area = 60m2)

Remove corroded culvert pipe and replace with RC pipe and headwalls on Gate 2 to Route 20 Track

Repair 4 x concrete edge blocks on Castle Bridge
